American Idol rolls out a two-hour episode tonight with the top 12 boys singing.

My bet is there will be plenty of filler, flashbacks to auditions and more inane Ryan Seacrest interludes in between the actual performances.

Idol is certainly entertaining, but they keep dragging out episodes when it’s so not necessary.

An hour and a half would be plenty for tonight’s show.
